Dsy 1:
Welcome at the Puerto Maldonado airport, transfer by bus to the port where a company boat will take you for approximately 1 hour along the Madre de Dios River to Nái-Mecí Lodge where our bilingual naturalist guide will make a brief introduction of the impressive jungle Amazonian in the interpretation center to later settle in our fabulous cabins. Option to rest, refresh and go on a first walk through our interesting trail system and observe the jungle and the amazing diversity of birds. Dinner, after dinner to talk about this first jungle experience, about the plans and schedules for the next day. Optional night walk to observe insects and amphibians. Overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.
Day 02:
Breakfast will be offered early for all those who wish to start their excursions. Again in our boat we will cross the river being able to observe diverse species of birds, we will visit Lake Sandoval located inside the Tambopata Reserve where with luck we will see the great family of giant otters, monkeys, etc. We will return in the afternoon. Dinner. Overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.
Day 03:
This day we boarded our boat crossing the Ese-Eja native community downstream. This route offers us an opportunity to observe the jungle and the birds. Once we arrive we can learn from some families about their culture, values, customs, language, get knowledge of jungle fruits and the opportunity to buy some handmade crafts is a way to support them economically. Lunch on the boat and return to Nái-Mecí Lodge.
Once we arrive, as an optional free activity, our Canopy Zip Down. In our Nái-Mecí Lodge our guests climb a 30 meter observation tower, connecting to the first platform they have the opportunity to go from tree to tree and from platform to platform using harnesses on a horizontal cable with a lane system they glide at great speed over the treetops. Specialized personnel will help you at all times during this exciting experience and will explain everything interesting that is observed from the moment you leave the ground until you get off in rappel.
Day 04:
Early, after breakfast we will leave in our boat to the “Taricaya Project” where the guide will explain how this project works in the conservation of nature and river turtles (Podocnemsis unifilis) that are in danger of extinction that they raise and they release, you can observe flora and fauna of the area walking along their paths and while we do it, the guide will tell us interesting local anecdotes, he will teach us about medicinal plants and their healing properties, of which there are thousands. Then we will climb the suspension bridge to get to the tower and have a spectacular panoramic view from the treetops. Lunch will be in the same project. In the afternoon, after returning to Nái-Mecí, you will walk along its road system. Dinner. Overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.
Day 05:
After breakfast we leave Nái-Mecí Lodge. We will start our boat to Puerto Maldonado and transfer by bus to the airport.
We invite our guests to enjoy the tropical pool / bar, classic bar, billiards, darts and other board games.
