Embarking: Iquitos / Disembarking: Iquitos
RIVERS TO NAVIGATE: ITAYA RIVER, AMAZONAS RIVER, MARAÑÓN RIVER, NAUTA CAÑO, YANAYACU PUCATE, UCAYALI, YANALPA, DORADO, PACAYA.
Day 1: Iquitos – City Tour – Arapaima Expeditions
Reception at the Airport / Hotel by our guide and transfer by bus to the Restaurant “Casa de Fierro” after lunch, We will begin a short city tour through the city of Iquitos.
5.00 pm, We will go to our jetty where we will embark on the ARAPAIMA EXPEDITIONS.
We will welcome with a courtesy coktail.
Accommodation in your rooms, accompanied by our staff and we will begin navigation through one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, the Amazon River, the largest in the world.
7:00 pm, Presentation of Cruise director and guide who will inform you about itineraries of trip and the activities to realice.
The security aboard the Arapaima, it is very important that is why a safety and protection drill will be carried out to know the ship’s protocols.
8.00 pm, Dinner aboard the Arapaima ship, where we will enjoy the exquisite Amazonian cuisine.

Day 2: Comunity Kukama – Jungle Of The Mirrors
06:30 am, Excursion aboard our skifss, to observe different bird species and listen to the different bird songs – one different from the other, monkeys, dolphins and we will receive the good vibes of the Amazonian dawn.
8:00 am, Return to the Boat – Buffet breakfast.
9:30 am, We will hike in the jungle protected by the Kukama of Puerto Prado to discover the different ecosystems that this wonderful jungle offers.
We will have the opportunity to interact with the Kukama Indians and acquire their fine local crafts made by the hands of the ladies of the community.
We will observe the Victorias Regias, one of the most peculiar plants of the Amazon, a family of ninfeáceas capable of supporting a newborn of 3-5 kilos due to the tangled natural structure.
12:00 pm, Return to the ship.
1:00 pm, Buffet lunch, after lunch, a moment of short rest and relaxation in the common areas of the boat.
3:30 pm, Exploration in our skiff boats towards the Nauta Caño gorge where we will observe the jungle of the mirrors and observe toucans, parrots, macaws, sloths and monkeys high in the trees.
We will make the artisanal fishing of the famous Piranhas.
After a night excursion in search of wildlife, it will be an exciting experience to observe different species of animals such as Alligators, Snakes and different types of animals and nocturnal insects.

Day 3: Full Day Pacaya Samiria
06:30 am, Excursion at dawn. -We start the fresh morning, full of life and bewitching sounds. Surrounded by pink dolphins, we will board our skiff boat for our full day excursion along the Yanayacu-Pucate River, (Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve), we will enjoy the exuberant wildlife sighting such as pink dolphins, toucans, herons, monkeys and many animals We will enjoy a country breakfast on board our skiff boat, we will be surrounded by the magic of the rainforest cacophony with a unique ecosystem. It will be an adventure full of unforgettable and unique moments that the wonderful jungle of mirrors gives us. We will do a short walk in the flood zone known as IGAPO Forest to discover this wildlife paradise, followed by piranha fishing.
12:00 pm, We return to the ship
1:00 pm, Buffet lunch – Short rest and relaxation in the common areas of the boat.
3:30 pm, In the afternoon, excursion in our skiff excursion boat until we reach our stopping point and start a great adventure walking towards a Communal Reserve through the thicket of the Amazon jungle (mainland / high jungle) where we will observe and We will know different types of ecosystems. We will discover different insects, reptiles and amphibians, tarantulas, toads, frogs that are unique to this ecosystem.
7:00 pm, Return to the Ship.
8:00 pm, Dinner aboard the Arapaima ship.
Day 4: Nauta – Amazon River
6: 00 am, Breakfast on board.
9:30 am, City tour or Boat ride. (optional) through the city of Nauta where we will know where we will visit the Market, Sapi Sapi Lagoon, where you will see the world’s largest freshwater fish, plaza de armas.
12:00 pm, Return to the ship.
Relax in the common areas of the boat.
1:00 pm, Buffet lunch.
3:30 pm, We start sailing to the Amazon River and Ucayali.
5:00 – 5:30 pm, Excursion in our place where the guide will explain the union of the 3 rivers, Ucayali, Marañón and Amazonas.
6:30 pm, Return to the ship.
8:00 pm, Buffet dinner.
Day 5: Pacaya Samiria Reserve
8:00 am, Buffet breakfast.
9:30 am, we will board our skiff excursion boat towards the Pacaya Samiria Reserve to observe different types of ecosystems that we find in the jungle of mirrors, we will see different birds and a lot of wildlife such as, Toucans, Parrots, Macaws, iguanas, lazy, monkeys in their natural habitat and other endemic animals in the area. We will do a short walk through the swamps of the reserve that remain underwater for 6 months of the year.
12:00 pm, Return to the Ship.
1:00 pm, Buffet Lunch.

3:30 pm, Excursion in our skiffs boat through one of the tributaries of the Ucayali River we will enjoy observing the primary jungle and wildlife of the area, we will make the artisanal fishing of the famous piranhas.
Night excursion to observe the wonderful world of insects and reptiles that abound in the jungle. It will be an unforgettable experience in the jungle at night, where you can feel the energetic vibration of the majesty of the Amazon rainforest.
7:00 pm, Return to the ship.
8:00 pm, Dinner will be an experience for the palate, which will combine the freshest foods of the Amazon rainforest.

Day 6: Pacaya Samiria Reserve
06:00 am, Buffet breakfast.
7:00 am, Excursion in our skiffs excursion boat to the Pacaya River to observe the biodiversity offered by the Amazon rainforest where we will observe the pink and gray dolphins, monkeys, birds, lazy bears and a great biodiversity of wildlife Navigation in kayak and experience being close to the waters of the Amazon and swimming close to the pink dolphins will be a unique and unforgettable experience.
Lunch camping style accompanied by beautiful landscapes that the Pacaya Samiria Reserve gives us.
3:00 pm, Return to the boat and continue sailing on the Ucayali River.

Day 7: Excursion

9:30 am, We will visit a riverside town where we will learn about their culture, customs, way of life, interaction with people.

3:30 pm, Excursion in our skiffs boat in search of wildlife.
It will be part of the spectacular and beautiful Amazonian sunset, on board our boat we will make the Amazon toast with Champagne as a thank you to the Beautiful Natural Reserve for everything lived and experienced during the excursions that took place day by day.
6:00 pm, Return to the ship.
7:00 pm, Relax in the common areas of the boat
8:00 pm, Dinner.
After dinner there will be a farewell party with the Musical Band of the Arapaima Expeditions.
Day 8: Iquitos – Manati Amazonico – Apto
8:00 am, Breakfast buffet.
9:30 am, Disembark at the port of the city of Iquitos.
We will visit the Amazon Manatee Rescue Center where we will learn about the great work done by the Center in the Conservation and Preservation of the Amazon Manatee.
