Peru corporation cuts costs to attract investments of new airlines

Together with Lima Airport Partners, the Peruvian Corporation of Commercial Airports and Aviation (CORPAC) has announced that it will reduce the prices of many services provided to airlines.
It was announced that these organizations would reduce the cost of their services by up to 25 percent and would provide tax incentives for airlines.
Hugo Tello, vice president of CORPAC explained that these reductions in costs and tax incentives would be provided to airline companies to encourage them to expand their operations and provide more services and flights to more national and international destinations.
Tello added that with this decrease in prices, CORPAC also hoped to attract the investments of other airlines.
He stated that these measures would also bring Peruvian costs closer to the price of these services in other South American countries.

Peruval to invest $20 million
Rafael López Aliaga, the president of Peruval financial group announced that the consortium would be investing $20 million on the expansion of Hotel Monasterio in Cusco and the repair of a ship that is to provide a touristic service on Lake Titicaca. He explained work on the luxury hotel would begin in March.
Lima celebrates 474th anniversary
The city of Lima will be celebrating its 474th anniversary with a three-day celebration that is to include everything from concerts to fireworks to artwork. Municipal authorities have explained that festivities have been designed to strengthen Limeans sense of identity. KLM oldest airline in the world
KLM airline will be celebrating its 90th birthday on October 7 of this year. This makes the Dutch airline the oldest airline in the world to continue to operate under its original name. The airline has already begun to celebrate its birthday year. With a flight that took passengers through twelve provinces in Holland, the airline commemorated its 90 years in service. “KLM is proud of its Dutch heritage,” said CEO Peter Hartman.
TACA announces direct flights from Peru to Cuba

With announcements made by TACA airlines of new direct flights, Peru and Cuba will soon be just one flight from each other.
TACA airlines has confirmed it will begin offering flights from Lima, Peru to La Habana, Cuba beginning March 23. This information was revealed by Nani Garrués, head of sales in South America.
Garrués explained that the service would be inaugurated with three flights per week from Lima to La Habana and three flights per week from La Habana to Lima.
It was reported that flights from La Habana to Lima would be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while flights from Lima to La Habana would be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
“We know that this will benefit passengers greatly, not just Peruvian ones but also passengers in South America like Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay,” said Garrués, explaining the flights were not only four tourists but also for medical students.
